I think it could use some sort of hint to figure out where to go, but other than that, its was nice! Good job!

Pure luck doesn't make a good game. Instead of making it a random chance to die, you could add more indicators to show that something is behind the door like noises when you approach the door, breathing, etc.

The movement is also a little too slow even with the sprint.

Not bad for your first game though!

100% with you, actually I faced many issues since 1st time doing a3D game, + I focused on Thunder + lightning + rain, then did the gameplay in the last few hours, for the sprint I had it fast but I thought it would be better to make it still slow to feel the calm.. , but you're right, thanks for your feedback! :)

Well you had the theme correctly implemented, maybe expand the game in a way to the player has some chance in avoiding the evil presence!
