Yes all assets and code was made from scratch, with the unity engine.

Hey, nice work with what you were able to put together at this point.  The art was nice and I could see where things were coming together if you had a bit more time to get things set up. Keep at  it!

Was able to gather and chop down the wood, but seemed unable to figure out how to build with it, art's on point! Could've done with some audio but the visuals are clear!

I think it was because you needed to use use sticks.
Which the trees didn't drop for some reason, they only dropped wood. That was an oversight.
