How does your game fit the theme?
It is a storm cloud that only spawns when the player finds an item.
So its quit before the storm 😁
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?

Very Cool!
I'm not sure what to do after you find all the items. I couldn't figure out a way to use them. I agree with what Mau commented how you have a great atmosphere and fit the theme well. The music is nice for this game, the ambient soundscape is good. Could use footsteps and a jump and some other sounds but for the most part you have some nice things for the item pickups and the thunderstorm. There should be a way to get under cover or something like that for the storm. Good job!
I really liked the athmosphere of the game. It felt very moody and eerie. I think you nailed the abandoned and desolate town feel. I also liked how you made a roaming storm the "enemy", it fit the jam theme and the mysterious vibe.
One thing I would have liked to be explored more was how the player can interact with the storm. Currently it was very much a "Avoid the storm or you eventually die". So if you had more time I would have encouraged you to explore things like "What can the player do when caught in the storm to get out of it?" would be a good starting point.
It was also very hard to figure out what I was supposed to do in the game. I eventually found the book after having died once. Think about how you lay out the town and the important objects to make it easier to both navigate and make it easier for the player to make decisions of where to go. That way the player won't have to search randomly until they eventually find something.
Overall, I think you did great, keep at it!
