nice way to convey your message, the drawing part works really well,
grandson speaks a little too creepy though, not like a child, I expected him to be some kind of creature

Developer

Yeah, you're right, the kid is a little too mature. It's hard to make a child say something deep and intriguing while sounding like a child at the same time. As for the creature, a little backstory: the painter William Utermohlen, the main character of the story, painted a picture you can see below. I tried to show that as the painter loses his memories and his way of seeing things, he sees his grandson in clown clothes, to reference the painting. Also, we could say he confuses it with his grandson, who could be dressed as a clown for his birthday, for example. But it's true, without the context, it’s a bit strange.

The game tries to send a beautiful message, I love it!

Developer

Thanks, it was the goal👍

Really love this!! Just watching how the game  deteriorated together with the mind of the granddad over time gave off a creepy and sad vibe. Also props to you for managing to do all of this solo! I would love to see a web export for this game!

Thanks, your game is also so nice

Overall, it's pretty cool, I like it. At first, it’s a bit confusing, but once you get the hang of it, it's great. The only issue I had was that the resolution seemed a bit off—the game looked cropped, but it might be an issue with my computer. Good job!

Developer

Thanks a lot, dude, I appreciate it.

Hit me right into the feels. Something like that happens with my family right now, so i can't enjoy it fully. But you conveyed your idea very good.

Developer(+1)

Sorry for that, it's a bit heartbreaking for me because I wanted to create a game that talks about this without reminding you guys of the bad moments you've passed or are going through. I hope this problem gets resolved, even though it’s difficult. Try to remember the good memories, like the little boy in the story. ☺️🫶

Love the way you conveyed your idea man, it's the best way to represent how the old man must have felt. Good Work 👍👍

Developer

Thanks, man. Unfortunately, I'm just a beginner, so I wasn't able to create a more ambitious game that would better represent this illness. I tried to imagine the effects of such a disease over time. Thanks for your feedback.

Yeah you could try and make it a little longer as well, but seriously your idea was well conveyed.

"I just have one question: I want to play your game, but I can't extract it. Do I need to install WinRAR or something else?"

Submitted(+1)

WinRAR would work yes, cause I used WinRAR to package it as well.

Also if the TV at the menu doesn't load just give it a minute or so.
