How does the game fit the theme?
The game fits the "nothing can go wrong" theme by setting up a calm night, then immediately breaking it with exhibits coming to life and creating mayhem.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?

really fun game! scared the pants off me at one point
Very nice game enjoyed it very much! Especially the graphics and the overall idea of the game suits the theme really well! :D
Thank you so much, did you find the secret area?
Yes, you mean the room with the button where you can finish the day when you press on it?
Yes😆
I played until day 3. Reminded me of Night at the Museum.
Yess! Did you find the secret area?
I wanted to give it a try, but it seems you only have a Windows version. I am on macOS, unfortunately. Consider adding a web version ;-)
We are shipping a macos version soon today.
Sounds exciting! I will try and get back to check it out.
ok it is online, you can try it :)
Pretty fun gameplay, but the motion blur gives me headache
We should add a setting to disable it then :) did you find the secret area?
I didn't, I only played for a short while.
Played till day 4 , encountered a bug where I was running and placing the animal at the same time, somehow it just vanished and I was stuck.
But ya the game was fun, could have been more fun if animals where offensive(tho you did try by adding the dino when you place the animal wrong)
I would suggest to make other animals offensive when I pick the targeted animal, that I think can make it more fun.
Great visuals and audio work.
And also the voice over was good.
Thank you! The animals are actually offensive if you make mistakes. Try it, it’s fun ;) Also, did you find the secret area?
Ya I know , they become offensive when you make mistake but in my whole playthrough I made only one mistake ,in that the animal became a dinosaur (I think you can make the game play in such a way that players are prone to make more mistakes), and I was not able to find the secret area.
We’ll think about how to make the progression better, since we did not have enough time to do so during the jam
I love how the game reflects to the theme. Animals always work
Hahah thank you, did you find the secret area?
Strange little game. Good visuals and audio. Gameplay loop doesn't click for me, but i see a lot of effort here.
Thank you! We did not manage go include some neat features to make it more like a puzzle game, maybe in the future!
Was this game inspired by Night at the Museum by any chance? Reminds me a lot it, such a unique and yet easy to grasp concept, at first I thought this was a horror game, but it turns out, it was a very pleasant and strangely relaxing game--even though there are monsters trying to eat you.
I find the gameplay very engaging, running around in a museum, catching living exhibits using a half-life gravity gun (which I must you, you guys managed to mimicked quite well)
And I'm super impressed that you guys managed to make high-quality voice-over, and a high-quality self made music in just a week! You guys must have worked really hard on this
I do have one small nitpick though, I wish it tells you how many exhibits you've caught, and how many left there are, I felt like running without an end in sight (but maybe that was your intention)
Either way, amazing work all around! Congrats!
Thank you do much for the detailed feedback, yes that movie was definitely an inspiration! Did you find the secret area? ;)
There's a secret area? I'm afraid I was too busy dodging monsters and capturing exhibits hahaha
The game looks really cool! Though I had like 15fps with the lowest settings, but still.
Though I really didn't like the gameplay. Like you just go around throwing animals into random portals. It got really tedious really fast.
Also why's there some random cheat button in that one room. I didn't realize what it did and skipped 2 days. The third day I played fully, but like even that was really repetitive and I really don't want to imagine doing that for even more days.
Also the mechanic is kinda poorly explained, first I had no idea what to do and then I was confused for a while why the animals were still turning to monster, because I didn't see the current animal thing (or maybe I'm just blind).
Hello, First of all, have you played with the audio on? Since most of the directives come from there. An secondly unfortunately with 15 fps any game is literally unplayable, I’d suggest trying the game on a more powerful PC before judging it so harshly. Thank you!
Yeah, I played with audio, though I thought the rearranging just meant moving the paintings or something and wasted some time on that. I don't think they explained throwing the animals to the portals. Though yeah, the experience would probably been a whole lot better if I had a better pc.
since there are 48 hours for fixes and optimization we are actually working on performance optimizations now. As soon as we update the build you could try it again, hopefully it will work better!
We managed to upload a more optimized build, can you see if you can play now and have more decent fps?
That was fun! Nice graphics and game play. Very polished :) I made a few mistakes and put the wrong animals in the wrong colors… on purpose. :P I had fun! Kudos!
Hahah thank you Lorenzo! Did you find the secret area? 😁
Ah, average day in Australia museum.
Sorry couldn't finish the game but I do found the button tho! and finish the second level before it got laggy real hard. I like the level of polish of this game, Would love to see more stable version, despite that it still a intresting and unique game! :D
Hahaha thank you! Yeah we did not have time to work on performance optimization, we will! :)
Sweet!
