How does the game fit the theme?
This game is about making candy for the most famous candy maker in the world. In order to make candy, you've got to go through a lot of trial and error until you get it right. Nothing is allowed to go wrong, otherwise you have to start over.

The pixel art drawings fit the game very well, and I loved them. As others mentioned, I wish you could continue from the level you left instead of restarting. Otherwise, this is a very cool take on the theme—nice one!
The look is great. I kinda wish there was a sprint/run button or that the character moved faster.

I liked the idea of the game, it fits the theme well, and it was really difficult to make a sweet since I couldn't get a single ingredient wrong, good game!

What a vibe, so cruel making you start back at the chocolate shell everytime you fail i would of loved more tidbits to stare at on my slow shuffling journey back and forth. felt very impossible quiz trying to get through that.
I'm glad you liked the vibe! I have to admit, I made this game a rage game on purpose, but I have heavily underestimated how hard I made it! Not having enough things to look at in the lab is a very fair criticism. I wanted to add so many more details to the lab, but I didn't have enough time to add more. I also could have made the player walk a bit faster, you're right about that. Thanks for the feedback and for playing!
