How does the game fit the theme?
Alchemist Mayhem follows an alchemist who uses strange artifacts in his alchemy that always seems to end not the way he expected it to end and often cause explosions.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
I created all the assets with free and open-source software and websites such as beepbox.co and the Godot engine

I really like the artstyle and concept. The game is obviously not finished but if you add the other ingredients and polish the levels a bit (like for example the collisions in the forest) it could shape up to a really nice little game. I also like the soundtrack but I think it is a bit to loud. For doing everything yourself and it being your first ever game jam submission it's still pretty good. :)
