How does the game fit the theme?
Your parents left to celebrate something and asked you to take care of a few simple chores—nothing unusual. Just putting books in order, turning off the lights, maybe doing the dishes.

At first, everything seems fine. But as you go about your tasks, small things start to feel… off.

The whole idea is to make the player feel safe at first and then slowly chip away at that feeling. Nothing is explicitly wrong, but the unease builds up. What started as a cozy, normal night turns into something subtly unsettling.

And that’s where the real fun begins—because the monsters aren’t real. They’re in her head. Kids are smart, but their imagination can be their worst enemy. They see things in the dark, hear whispers in silence, and overthink the smallest creak in the floorboards. Remember closing your eyes in the shower and opening them quickly, convinced something was standing behind you? That’s the feeling we want to capture.

The game is still in development, and there’s more to come—puzzles, minigames, and even entities lurking in the house. The further you go, the stranger things become. Tasks that seemed ordinary at first start feeling like something else entirely.

That’s why "Everything is Gonna Be Fine..." fits with the theme "Nothing Can Go Wrong". Because at the start, that’s exactly what you think. But the more you play, the more you realize—something IS wrong.

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?

Wonderful art.
After exiting the bedroom, and grabbing the flash light. The first door in the hall just seemed to reload the scene. There was no change in either of the other doors (still going to bedroom o r bathroom.
Also audio seemed to not work past the main menu?
Idea sounds cool, and would love to see a working version. If it's a game breaking bug you have like, 28 hours left to update it! Hope you do.

For a deadline of one week, it was a really cool job! And I have some feedback to say.

I don't know if it was my incompetence but I was walking around the house for a few minutes and nothing happened, I also got a little lost in how the house worked, I think there could have been an indicator on the door that was locked and when choosing to go down the stairs or even a map indicating which floor we were on. The menu music was very good, but I think it strayed a little from the game's theme shortly after the beats at the beginning of the song.

And the art was very beautiful, I loved the abaporu tree on the wall and the swans kissing. Congratulations on the work!
