How does the game fit the theme?
I may have misunderstood the theme until a few hours ago but the idea of surviving with one torch to survive a cold winter's night and someone Sarcastically saying "nothing could possibly go wrong " Stuck out in my mind after dealing with the oh so wonderful Canadian winter all my life

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
I did not make some of the sound effects And the font Which I got ironically from brackeys tutorials

How many people worked on the game?

The concept is nice and I thought the graphics and sound quality were solid as well. There's almost a sort of horror vibe to it which had me on edge a little lol. I think the lighting/survival mechanic could be a great base for a game with more content, this felt a little bare although I understand you joined late.

Still a solid attempt, gave you a follow there because I'd love to see what other sort of stuff you can come up with! Cheers!

Thank you I really tried to nail down a very uneasy feeling kind of like what you get alone in the woods almost claustrophobic in a sense and I will definitely be making a lot more games I enjoyed this far more than I thought I would

I like the concept! I had a little difficulty figuring out where I needed to look to get the firewood, but once I figured it out it was easy. Was consonantly panicked trying to find my next source of fuel! Simple yet addicting. I think adding a timer to see how long you can last would add a competitive aspect. Was always trying to figure out if I did better than last time or not

Thank you very much glad you enjoyed it there's a few things I couldn't add in time that timer or while a score tracker was one of the things I was wanting to do but this is my first actual game I've ever made and couldn't figure it out in time Along with an enemy creeping about to make things more tense I just really wanted to make sure I finished my first jam
