Thanks a ton for the feedback, my other teammate is currently working on improving a lot of the features of the game like the audiovisual feedback, we hope to continue the project and create something more realised so we appreciate the comment!

Hey all, I've went ahead and rated you all back, thanks for the help!

Solid attempt for a first jam submission, although as others have said it was a little difficult to fully understand what I was supposed to be doing throughout the game

Nice game, the simplicity really allows it to shine in my opinion. Also the sound effects are wonderful haha

Nice concept, I appreciate all the different endings that there are. There's a lot of innovation and charm in this project, I like the animations although I felt like the combine animation was a bit lengthy, great game besides that!

Great entry! Solid platformer with a lot of well placed humour, a good chunk of varied ideas that keep things fresh. Only issue I had was with landing right on the corner of some platforms wouldn't register as me hitting the ground, I think that happened around the underground section if I remember correctly

Need some more ratings on our game to hit the 20 mark, I'd love to meet that mark and above if I can and I can help you get over that as well! Would prefer browser games only, sorry for any non-browser people

Our game is a challenging survival concept, here's the link, thanks! - https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-13/rate/3349525

Thanks for the response! A tutorial would be a good idea I think

Nice concept, there's a good mix of deceptively simple levels, undeceptively hard ones, level 4 was an instant favourite, just all around great game design here :)

Well designed game even if I'm absolutely terrible at it haha

Cool idea, it's nice to see a puzzle platformer in this jam for sure! Loved the intro sequence, it really adds a lot to the game and the theme of the jam itself, just overall great work :)

Nice idea! It was a very nice plot twist, I do wish the game was a little easier though lol :P

I went to squash a mouse and I accidentally dragged it over to the button. I survived for 5 seconds

10/10

Very fun game and unique idea

Okay, this is a really cool idea, you guys did a really good job with the difficulty ramping up as time went on, really did give the impression that everything was going wrong haha.

And of course it doesn't need to be said but the art and music are just insane, really ties everything together. All the little things like the ships having the red area around them as they near other ships is a nice touch that you gave a lot of thought towards. Definitely one of my personal favourites from this jam, nicely done!

Some really nice ideas here, from a technical point it's really impressive that you're using your own framework so big congrats for that. Secondly I think the environment is very well done, the spaceship had a unique design to it and all the little PSAs were an excellent touch. The gameplay was a little confusing to begin with, I think having some more visual cues as to where the tetras are spawning from would help a lot with that, but I think your entry was very innovative, well done!

Great game! I loved all the different perspective and game genre changes, felt like a nice homage to the gameboy era. Art and sound were amazing as well of course. My only complaint is that the collision on the ceiling during the platforming section felt a little bit off, I couldn't quite jump over the goblin but I managed to get past them.

Nice art and audio! I did remind me a lot of Stardew Valley as well. There's not a whole lot to complain about on my end, maybe a faster walking speed? Great work either way!

Really nice game, really no complaints from me. Very enjoyable

The art is really nice, the idea of going back to the lamp to turn it on reminded me of ocd a little bit, don't know if that was intentional or not but I thought it was cool. Short and sweet :)

Cool ideas here, was a bit confusing to initially figure out who I was playing as but the games were fun combined with the aggressive timer mechanic, makes simple tasks way more difficult to complete under pressure. I think maybe having a break or intermission between acts would give the player a nice breather between stages, if you get behind on some stuff you're not likely to come back from that which doesn't feel so great imo

Nice concept, game is simple and easy to get the hang of while also giving the player a lot of room to score points and maneuver throughout the level.

Only thing that I think would have been nice to see was maybe a UI, perhaps themed like a cockpit? You could add things like the timer, points, reload time between shots and current problems that the plane is having? Neat idea though, good stuff!

Lovely art! I like that as you organise the items you organically create a level yourself as you snake items around item groups, very

interesting how the game evolves like that.

More of a personal bias I think but I found the gameplay a little repetitive, although if I wanted to relax this probably would be a good game choice. Also I found it funny when the items shot the capy off the screen, very cute presentation and solid execution!

The concept is nice and I thought the graphics and sound quality were solid as well. There's almost a sort of horror vibe to it which had me on edge a little lol. I think the lighting/survival mechanic could be a great base for a game with more content, this felt a little bare although I understand you joined late.

Still a solid attempt, gave you a follow there because I'd love to see what other sort of stuff you can come up with! Cheers!

Thanks! We'll definitely try and improve on that if we continue development on this project

The concept is interesting, would have been cool to see more levels in the game, unfortunate that you guys got sick :(

Also I love that you did most of the sound effects, just adds so much charm to the whole experience

This game really is something special, everything I could say has already been said so I'll just say you've got a great game here!

Nice game, it works as a really solid puzzle platformer and precision platformer, had me stuck a couple times. I like that the crate has multiple functions and the commentary was a nice touch. Great submission!

Loved the concept!I think everything fit together nicely, and I like how when you mess up everyone immediately starts throwing stuff at you haha.

It's unfortunate that the game was chugging a bit on my browser, but it was still very much playable, I also realised that if you spam mistakes the objects that spawn from the crowd throwing stuff at you can very quickly cause the game to slow to a crawl. Other than that, really solid attempt at something innovative!

Thanks for the comment! Yeah I think visual clarity would be a good priority for next time, I'll keep that in mind lol

Yeah, we were crunching pretty hard on the last day and I just realised there is a lacking of any visual indicators on my part. Everything is destructible in the world. Thanks for the feedback!

Really nice concept, loved the art and the gameplay twist on the sokoban genre, only complaint is that it was a bit short, but overall great :)

Nice game! I liked the little additions you had through the levels, although I had to give up cause it got way too  hard for me lol

The controls felt a little floaty at times but I thought it added to the challenge, also the explosive were a nice touch for difficulty and variety

I think you did a near perfect job with the amount of time you had. All the little details from the length of the graphics wobbling as they get taller, the sound effects that were added as you passed each unit, it all worked very effectively towards the games enjoyment for me. Theme implementation was great and the game taps into that cool niche of somewhat useless knowledge that a lot of us take an interest in. Nice work!

Thanks for the feedback :)

Thanks!

Nice twist on the tetris formula! The little graphics for the characters and the effects really bring everything together, the only complaint I have is that it would be nice to be able to move pieces by holding down the arrow keys or to have an instant place button but overall really great game

Lots of charm, was a relaxing game to play although I wasn't too certain of how I was doing in terms of progression, nothing happened after I found the 3rd strawberry unfortunately

Cool game, I thought the idea was nice but it would have been interesting to see it developed a bit further. I think if more of the objects had some texturing on them it would tie everything together more nicely, although it was still a pretty charming game

Nice little game, the way you designed the crates to only be affected at certain sizes was a nice idea. The levels felt well designed and weren't frustrating like some puzzle games can kinda be, there was some room for error given that you knew roughly what the solution was. Overall pretty good!
