In what way does your game fit the theme?
Rewind time mechanic has the player backtrack his/her movements.

Did you write most of the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
With the help of online tutorials for programming some of the mechanics and main menu, and making a soundtrack with Bosca Ceoil.

Like the game, the whole rewind mechanic is cool, but there is not a need for it in the game, I also don't really like how to rewind all your movements without anyway to stop it, for instance if I could stop the rewind by pressing lctrl again it could be used to save myself from a missed jump and also maybe require it at some points to that mechanic that you spent time designing required to be used.

Another thing is the level design, while the fact that I can choose levels from the menu is fine, I would have liked a level progression where I start at one and go through all 6 levels, and if I die at a level instead of just booting me to the menu, I get re-spawned at the start of the level and can try again, instead of having to click through menu screens.

One last thing, the menu sound track is really cool I love it, why not put it in the levels?

I like your game though, the platforming feels really smooth

Thank you so much for spending some of your time to try out my game!

I sort of explained some issues you mentioned on my postmortem, but basically one of my biggest problems was getting the rewind mechanic to work at first. Also, I was the only guy to work on this. Originally I was going to have three of my friends to join the jam, but two of them had their hands full and the other one didn't respond to my message on time. Some personal stuff got in the way as well, and eventually I had to cut some content. The respawn point being one of them.

I'm also glad that you enjoyed the soundtrack. There was going to be one solely for the gameplay, but like I mentioned, I didn't had the time.

It's good. Only thing is some jumps seem almost impossible (although there may be some sort of strategy to it I'm missing).

Yeah some obstacles require the player to time their jump correctly. I didn't get much play testers to go through the game, to figure out what work and what didn't. Probably because it's difficult to convince family members and non-gaming friends to try out something that isn't finished yet haha.

I'm glad that you enjoyed it. It means a lot to me!
