Yeah, that's cool! Everyone has to start somewhere. Those are just some potential areas to get it perfect, but it is really good for your first project!

Yeah, I know the AI is a little bit screwy. That's definitely a part of the game I need to sort out. The fact that there is no king piece is a way I differed from chess a little bit. I can kind of see how not having a king and just requiring removing all the opponent's pieces from the board (except the biker) diminishes the strategy a little bit. I don't really plan to add a king, I'm hoping the rewind feature can add an extra dimension to the game that sort of replaces that but the feature is not at that stage yet. I'm glad you liked my game, that makes me happy!
I like the premise (apparently I'm supposed to be chased by coronavirus), it is a solid concept to start, although I do have a few recommendations. First, apparently the virus doesn't make an appearance early on in the game, I think it would be better if it was there the whole time (maybe doesn't move until player makes the first move). Also, I found a shrink powerup somewhere, which was cool, I guess that would help me fit through gaps but I think it would be nice if you explain the powerups more in the beginning. Also, don't be afraid to spice up the assets! Everything felt kind of muted. I didn't know my end goal either, maybe a minimap with a finish flag or a side character who gives you advice would be nice.
Don't take this list of feedback too critically, I think you are off to a really good start and have a strong foundation for your game! If you just make the game pop a little more with more assets and music, as well as give the player more direction, you'd have an amazing game!
Good idea with moving for the rewind! Definitely want to try to figure out how to implement that when I have the time. I was worried about the pieces looking the same, I would have added more differential items like different hats but I'm bad at making graphic art haha. I think I made a good design for the guy with a knife two days ago, hopefully it works. And I'm glad you liked the bike mechanic! Thank you for playing my game and the valuable feedback!
Yeah, it is possible to play with two players, although I submitted this with an AI controlling the blue pieces so that people rating the game on their own would have an easy time with it, although maybe two players would have been better considering how stupid the AI is in this phase lol.
Also, really liked ur game!
I love it! This guy is so committed to his job he has to push someone in front of a car to save the agent lol. I have to admit, it took me longer than it should have to figure out the acid part. One thing, I think you forgot a collider on the gun store on the left side of the starting street because I just walked right over the building.
Will check out your game. Here is mine. https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-4/rate/724750
I'm just going to admit that at 13 I definitely would not be able to create something like that, so kudos to you. I love the concept, that your character can only move left and you have to use other methods, like the push buttons and platforms, to move right. The escape sequence was nice, I liked your use of the particle system. I have two suggestions for you. The first is to go crazy with the player's icon. You don't need the shape of a person on it for the player to recognize it's the piece they should move, you could add eyes and a mouth or something like that. As a time cube, I think green would be a cool color. Also, maybe add a bit more challenges beyond the button and the push platform. Beyond that, however, you have an amazing game on your hands!
So I saw the press "E" thing to rewind the environment, did the land fall or something? Also, I didn't notice anything when I pressed "T", not sure if I was missing anything. Maybe some sort of animation by pressing "T" like you did when he holds the hourglass would be nice.
The design of the guy and the agent were pretty solid I think, but adding things in the background and putting more detail in the tiles, especially the dirt part below the grass, would be a benefit to you. More challenges besides just the agents and the hourglass could be cool. Also, the agent seems to float to other tiles to get to you, not sure if this is intentional but if it is you should add a particle effect to his movement, since at the moment the way he moves looks like a bug.
However, the concept and gameplay behind your game is solid, and I liked it. The only thing it requires is small tweaks. Good job!
