Its a difficult one if I may say so, the hit boxes are not very forgiving.
I love the character design though. I noticed you can use the peak of your helmet to hang onto ledges, would love to hear if that was intentional or not, or just a side effect of the character design.
Thanks for playing! It was intentional ^ ^
Nice little game, and I really like how you combined the platforming with the rewind ability. The controls could be improved by not having the rewind button on the same hand as the movement. And the hitboxes seem quite punishing sometimes, but the levels are short and the reload is fast, so it doesn't feel frustrating. Actually often the reload is too fast, so the knight still reacts to buttons pressed before he died, which usually means you die again right away. Maybe taking player control away for a second before the respawned knight can move again could help adjusting that.
But overall great job. Would love to have your guys' feedback on my entry as well. It's only my second game ever, so notes are highly appreciated.
Thanks for the feedback, to be honest, the game was going to be a troll game with 1 level, and only in the last 5 hours we made the rest of the levels. And aren't you participating in the Miz jam? I also remember you from the GMTK Jam 2020 if I'm not mistaking. I will definitely take a look at your entry :)
haha yeah that's right. I'm trying to get as much experience as possible right now, since I'm still new to this. Probably have to take a little jam break though after Miz. All (soon) three games need proper bugfixing and I also have to focus on some non-gamedev projects. Difficult to manage time for everything you wanna do, when you also have a full-time job...
