In what way does your game fit the theme?
You save more people and gain abilities. The story is also about only being able to get through hard things together.
Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
I made everything myself except the font I used.

well if i'm not wrong, its the one you let we see you free that thick guy and complete the level with him.
The time i watch that video is when the jam is started, about 2-4 days after jam started maybe?
Started out pretty good, not sure if it's broken or player error but the level right after being alone in the dark I couldn't get anywhere and had to stop playing. It says you need three people to flick the lever but then I couldn't jump onto any of the above platforms. I liked the music and the characters were cute though!
The scaffolding is something you can jump through. But I'm assuming you just got stuck on that jump at the beginning. Most of my playtesters struggled with that but they managed to get it. Completely understandable. Thanks for playing!
Cool game the only thing I would improve on is the controls, To run you have to press N and to move you have to press the arrow keys which are across the keyboard. I would recommend adding WASD support.

Yeah I tried to improve the controls but I didn't have the time to finish so the controls are where they are now.
This fits the theme really well! The lighting too, so nice.
