I love  this take on the theme! The physics are really well done, and I love the art style, great job!


The controls take a minute to get used to because of the wacky camera angle, and the physics are a little funky lol. Only big issue I had with it was that you don't get to restart the level, but have to restart the whole game. But other than that, I like the low-res art style good job!

That was an interesting one, it reminds me of Unfair Mario, but now it's an RPG! I like how the room changes color after you die, sad there's not more game, but good job!

Swapping between enemies and players on death is a really cool idea! After completing my life goal I did end up getting softlocked (maybe that was intentional?) but other than that, great job, I love the animations!

This is a hard one! The mechanics are really well  done, the jump, grapple and ability to  leave your body work  amazingly, great job!

That was wild! The progression was great, and once you finally figure everything out and properly execute it, you feel amazing. Only thing I could recommend is maybe a little screens hake to let the player know a door has been opened. Other than that though, seriously, outstanding job!

Never got to buy any  upgrades lol. Scared the crap out of me after grabbing the big ruby, I did not expect what happened! Great job :D

Brain farming, fun! (Don't take that one out of context) The gameplay does get a little monotonous after a while, but other than that it's a solid entry. Great job!

This game was designed really well! At first I thought the jump was a little floaty but with the way the levels are designed it really works, and heck half the time you're a ghost lol. Great take on the theme!

Wow this one is difficult!  The visuals reminded me a lot of Meridian 59, but the controls were so smooth! The combat is very intense, and  I'm honestly just surprised this is a game jam game! Fantastic job!

The game does have an end, I've done it! Not super impossible, even if the movement is a little wacky at some points. But it's complete, great job!

This game is gorgeous! Seriously, even though you play as a literal rectangle, the lighting is perfect! I ended up getting softlocked at first, and had to sometimes constantly sacrifice myself a few times to an enemy to kill it, it was a ton of fun. Great job!

This game was pretty awesome! It took me a moment to realize you had to the shoot the depressed notes coming at you lol. I tunnel visioned on the bar at the top to time my notes right. After figuring it out though, I really enjoyed it! This is super unique rhythm game, great job! 

I love the idea of the game getting better and more complete the more you play. Unfortunately my Japanese isn't super great, I read something about  Pokemon, taking a bath I think? And I hope you enjoyed the donuts lol! But great job, that was fun :D

This game is great, especially for just seven hours! After a couple runs through it becomes incredibly difficult to climb the tower, the same looking enemies are secretly buffed, and I feel like the player deserves a little reward lol (As in a buff or new  ability). Other than that though, seriously good job, it's a solid complete game!

It's neat to be able to switch abilities, but having an attempts counter conflicts with my  "I want to die to  change ability" feeling lol. But the platforming is solid, and even though I ended  up stuck in a loop where one of  the levels kept repeating itself, (poor frank forgot to move on lol), I really enjoyed this one. Good job!

This was a neat  way of storytelling! The cars in the skateboarding part had some very unforgiving collision lol, but great job!

The game looks really nice! It's hilarious to see a predator just zooming in at Mach 10 from off the screen, and the concept is executed incredibly well. Great job!

This is a great take on the theme! I love how the health is displayed on the player, great idea!

That was fun! The maze at the start was a little infuriating lol, and it took a LOT of  frogs to climb up the tower, but other than that this game was awesome. It looks great, the music is relaxing, and the plot is really cute, great job!


The voxel art  is really nice! It ended up crashing when I tried to pick up the apple lol, but other than that good job!

Thanks for playing!  I'm not  going to lie, I have no idea why that happens lol. You've probably already found out but it happens after the next fight as well. Love the video  name by the way, tomfoolery lol :D

Congrats on your first game jam!  Couple of things I'd like to point out:
The level continues to generate after you've died, just something to keep in mind if you end up coming back the project. Also sometimes you can't grab the  coins on the right-most side, as their rotation makes it so the player can't collide with them. (This could be fixed by maybe taking the collision off the coin, and moving it to a  parented game-object, so the coin still rotates while the collision stays in place)
Other than that though great job!

The  game grew on me lol. The more I played it, the more excited I got for what could happen. I won't lie, I started off with fairly low expectations because of the way it looked. But  man, building the world was a ton of fun, and just as I was thinking, "This game could really use some sounds-" we planted, sounds? Lol great job man, this game was awesome!

Took a moment to figure out  how to play, but I'm honestly surprised!  All of this in vanilla JavaScript is   insane, seriously hats off to you! 

I ended up getting stuck in this room, could I be missing something? Other than that though I like how you don't take damage from just colliding with the enemies, they  have to actually shoot you.  It helps out a bunch, good job!

3 Bosses in such a short time period, that's amazing! Not sure if this is a glitch, but in the later levels when I died it just sent me onwards to the next one. I also found myself exclusively using the ranged weapons, but other than that great job! It's a solid complete game!

This is an interesting one, never thought I'd end up grinding well, killing myself but here we are! The pacing is a little slow, I don't get as stronger as I hoped to every time I died, but other than that good job! It really is a neat idea!

This is a neat entry! The objects in the level reminded me of Mario, and I may or may not have tried jumping on the enemies at first lol. Only problem I had was when pressing escape to pause the game, but ending up having to restart. Other than that, great job!

I was going to add more spells, but unfortunately due to time constriants had to leave each character with only one ability and one attack. Eventually I hope to design a better system lol. Thank you for playing!

This game was amazing! I Keeping the health you get on death is great because you get to test yourself against the final boss over and over while still getting stronger. When you finally beat him it feels great! The game is designed incredibly well, and everything functions great!
Only small pet peeve of mine is that when you use the bombs, they don't show up on top of objects, so I thought there just wasn't a texture for them, and may or may not have blown myself up.
Other than that though, seriously, fantastic job! 

Mission Complete! It was super relaxing at first, but once I survived long enough for the music to kick in I got goosebumps, I knew I had to complete it. Great job!

"There's a snake in that pot!" Didn't expect top tier voice acting there!
Other than the enemies sometimes spawning right on top of the player lol, this game is a lot of fun. Great job on the level generation especially, in one week that's nuts!

Chaining enemies together on certain spots is a ton of fun! It's puzzley, but you have to be quick and precise. The flamethrower is also freaking awesome!

I love the idea of taking over the people you defeat! I love the kanji too :D
Unfortunately I softlocked myself on one of the levels, I think I defeated the enemies in the wrong order
But great job, the graphics are really nice!
