In what way does your game fit the theme?
The main character is a heart that gets stronger from collecting other hearts.

Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
I used some code from a brackeys youtube tutorial other than that all other assets are self-made.

cool game, check mine too! The only thing I didn't like was the slow speed, it would be a bit faster and more dynamic, plus it would be possible to make save points, keep it up! : D

Cool game dude! Solid platformer.

*Keep in mind some listings are things I personally liked/disliked*

Pros

{

- Great art!

- Good music.

- Well designed levels that are challenging which I found fun

- Player jump feels weird and a little fast compared to the players normal speed

- Got confused about if a heart was an enemy or a pickup 

}

This was a pretty solid platformer and i enjoyed the difficulty it slapped in front of me lol. I dont know if you knew, but you can walk past the platforms on the first level without jumping. Once again i liked your game dude! Great job!

I love your game's aesthetic. The levels feel a bit lacking but still interesting. The movement is a bit difficult at first but I enjoy how it gets easier as you keep playing.

It's not a very original concept, but I like the visuals and music, so it's a good atmosphere. The main thing I take issue with is how touching the ground halts all momentum.

Interesting concept, I believe the difference between the jump speed and walking speed is a bit too much as the walking speed feels very slow. It is quite tough, i think the adding of a background image or maybe a parallax background would go a long way and also adding in like an underfloor asset like some dirt underneath the floor or maybe moving the camera more up so you don't see that part of the game. Other then that I think this game is quite fun and with a bit more polish this could be a great game to release. (P.S Couldn't get past Level 2 >.< )

it was pretty fun!!. i like the idea. but it is a bit tough. I mean the first level was easy but the 2nd level got very hard. I didnt know that you can go under the bad heart at the last of the level 2 Lol I dies sooo many times. But overall its a Fun game. Good work ^-^. Also i like art style and the music too

Thank you for the feed back. The levels got a bit more fair and interesting in the later levels where I had a bit more wiggle room when it comes to player movement. Earlier levels could go for some more play testing and thank you this is my first time doing pixel art.
