In what way does your game fit the theme?
Two ways:
First and foremost, the mechanic of combining seeds and shooting them to make them stronger with new effects.
Second, it's a metacommentary about how humans need nature to survive, and viceversa. They are stronger together.
Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
All the code was written by us, but we used a lot of external assets.

I like it, but the controls make it hard to play.
I like the concept of seed combos and navigating bullet-hell segments, especially with the naturist angle - but in practice it felt like just a little too much. Not in terms of mechanics or visually, but both moving and adding seeds with the keyboard at the same time was a bit too much work for my hands - and necessary, given the pace - and even once I got the hang of it I wasn't really enjoying the physical activity of it. I'd recommend re-thinking the controls to keep immersion in the game and further from keyboard management.
That being said, conceptually I like it. I found myself thinking about using the root seeds to stop the enemies that kept moving around, I liked that trees showed up where I shot, the setting and general intention - there's some good stuff there!
For some reason I cant press the buttons on the start
