In what way does your game fit the theme?
Chimera is a stochastic music generator. Explore a faithful recreation of Chimera Steppes, a fictional art installation filled with wind chimes. New environments can be generated with the randomize button.
Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes. Chimera was developed in a few days with my custom engine. Its graphics and sounds are procedurally generated in real-time.

First time I see such a game. It is very impressive that you made this with your own engine!
Thanks for playing! Please see my comment below to learn more about audio games like this.
I came here from your comment on the bomb removing game by @EricBomb because you mentioned audio games. This was a pleasant experience and along with the bomb removal game, I would love to see more audio games in general. Thanks for making it!
Thanks for playing! Most of the games I make focus primarily on the audio like this. I highly recommend you check out No Video Jam 2 and No Video Jam, as well as the database at audiogames.net, to find more games like ours, including those by veteran devs in the scene who started it all and carry the torch for the new folks like us.
Audio game bro!
Your entries are so incredibly artistic and beautiful. Wonderful job as always dude!
AWESOME! did you really make this with your OWN engine?
Thanks! The engine isn’t very robust and took several months to make, but it does enough things well for me to quickly build new things that the big engines don’t: can synthesize sounds low-level on the fly, has good accessibility support, and uses web technologies to deploy anywhere. You can find the source code for the game and the engine on the page. Cheers!
