In what way does your game fit the theme?
My Boss is Chaos and through my semi-random level-generation is your level also chaos.
Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes. I used SFXR for my sound effects and BeepBox for the music. I already had a bit of code at the start from my work a day before the jam started. It was ~2 Hours of work, which was a box moving in a 2D-space.

Good entry, I like the random level generation and different enemy variants. The controls are also pretty good, and the music and sound effects suit the game well. I also really like the upgrade system and the different weapons it offers.
Well done! I like the random levels and the art style. Oh and I have to beat the boss
Very fun game. My only issue with it was that it was pretty easy and not super chaotic, but I loved it none-the-less. I believe you can easily add difficulty though, so that's not really a problem.
Great job!
If you have another person and a controller available to plugin please check out my game!
This is a fun little game, well done! There's groundwork here for some pretty cool stuff and it all plays very well. Nice job!
A few of the upgrades felt underwhelming, especially the absorption radius upgrade. I liked the ammo/mana pool, though I wasn't sure what the bar at the top left of the screen was? Experience? I'm unsure I leveled up outside of getting the checkpoints and weapons. The shotgun felt the best. I got the laser later and, while powerful, it didn't feel nearly as good as the shotgun.
The boss took me by surprise. He looked so different with the lighter color palette and the bubble asking for food that I thought he was a friendly. Boy was I wrong. Got through it on the first go though!
I think for a jam game, it dragged on a little long. It was mostly the same thing over and over until eventually a boss.
Overall, well done! Congrats on finishing the jam :)
Thank you for the kind words. I already noticed that my game wasn't designed in a way to clearly communicate everything :) I had already made some changes for the post jam version. Thank you for telling me about your experience with the worm, I didn't even think about it that way :D
Very fun game :)
