How does you game fit the theme?
Our idea was to play with the contrast of reality and imagination through they eyes of child. We were thinking of a young boy that is brought to bed but does not want to sleep. So he sneaks out of his bedroom, takes up his little flashlight and goes for a nightly walk through the house to find some delicious cookies. But as you are approaching the dark living room that once looked so familiar during daytime wild creatures arise and start to creep up on you - but what is reality and what is just arising from your lively imagination?

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes

Hi! Loved every aspect of the art style and the gameplay is really good as well.

Congrats!

I love the cartoon-y, almost cut out look of the art style! The concept is cute, and the limited animation really felt at home with the character design! I think it would be nice if there were more powerups like the milk, since running away from the monsters was a little difficult since they moved with you! Why does this family own so many cabinets and plants?? Overall, the story, art, and gameplay are great! And the fact that you were able to add cutscenes in such a short amount of time is awesome! If you plan to come back to this game after the jam, I think adding in more audio would be a good step to take! Awesome work!
