How does your game fit the theme?
The point of the game is to get into the lava to "end" it, but that actually just brings you to the next level. At the final level, at the "end" you are simply brought to the beginning again, so the end is a new beginning. If I had more time I would have tried to make it so it actually is a new beginning instead of just a loop.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
No, I took some code from Brackeys, asked for help from ChatGPT, and used one of General Textures by Mauricio Marinho on devassets.com.

Congrats your first game jam! It's a big step to build a game in a short time and then publish it!
I few things to consider if you plan to make improvements to this game:
Keep at it. Good submission.
A bit broken, but the idea is okay. It is always great to see your first games.
Pretty cool game in general, but I'd say there's still a lot of room for improvement. Also did you say that you asked for help from ChatGPT?
The camera movement was too fast that I couldn't play, I played the browser version,
Really liked the lava texture. Would appreciate some feedback for my game too!
Cool game with a good concept, maybe play and rate my game?
Nice submission! The game was pretty glitchy for me unfortunately. I fell through the ground when I missed a platform :( Great work for a first game though!
That's actually not a glitch. You are supposed to miss that jump (it's impossible) and then fall to get sent to the next level. Unless it didn't send you to the next level, in which case that was a glitch. Thanks for the feedback and the kind words!
