Great concept! Lots of fun once you get the hang of switching weapons and start smashing through mobs of monks and louses, then the ultimate satisfaction when you hit that hammer (time)! Easy to learn and difficult to master which leaves room for loads of replayablilty! Good graphics and sound, very polished! Excellent job!!
Played your game here, it was fun~
While the different arms to kill different mobs is a good idea, it works best when you have discrete waves.
I agree with everything TheCalster said below. It took me some time to figure out the keys as well. I even accidentally pressed one and couldn't figure out how to turn it back haha. This reminded me of the classic Mario battle map, except i couldn't warp around the edge. Nice work!
Hey TheCastler. Thank you very much for giving it a go. I made the mistake of only listing the controls on the games main page, which was not a great idea, next jame I will definitely put them in the game menu. For people giving this a go though:
Arrow keys for moving
Spacebar for jumping
1 For spike hair (kills monks)
2 For poison hair (kills lice)
3 For flame hair when follicle fuel is full (kills everything)
Collect thirs hammer when it spawns to kill all enemies on screen.
Hope you enjoy!
The different attacks for different enemy types was good, made the game more engaging.
However it took me a little while to figure out which buttons were for which attack, although maybe I missed it somewhere!
