Loved the atmosphere in the game, and the fast pace gave it a cool speed-run-y feel. A fast pace sound track would have made this really awesome!
Unfortunately I don't think it's super clear what it is you have to do, unless I missed something?
Some really great visual effects though, nice job! :)

Nice aesthetic, and visually impressive. It's a shame there isn't any sound, otherwise the game could have had a really cool atmosphere.
I think the controls could be fixed to work with the angle the camera is viewing the game space, or the angle could be fixed to fit the controls, either way one of them has to change.
I enjoyed the aesthetics and fast paced feel of the game.
The game can get a little tedious I feel, but ultimately it's pretty rewarding after you're able to complete each part in quick succession!
Perhaps the the mini intro at the beginning should be skipable? I know it's not very long, but if you die over and over, it can get a little repetitive.
Yea those are some major flaws with the main mechanic. The level numbering should be seen more as just labels I guess, otherwise you there are issues with attached meaning to the numbers. For example if the direction of the numbers were reversed, it would make more sense when you die and go down a level instead of up, but then the enemies are easier on the higher levels which is counter intuitive.
And even with the fact that the player is technically forced to shift down to the bottom level from the start every time, I think it's necessary that it is the player making that decision and consequently understanding that the initial level is sort of the "base reality" in which the real meta objective takes place, rather than the game deciding for them and perhaps resulting in confusion. Also the time in previous levels has to be slowed down so much, in order to be fair to the player, that it might as well just be paused. Overall I'd say the mechanic is more fun in theory than it is in practice haha.
Just have to press escape again to exit pause menu, but I definitely should have made that clear - sorry for that!
I'll pass on your compliments to the rest of the team! Thanks for playing :)
That was really cool! The aesthetics were great, the sound effects too. A soundtrack would have been really great for the mood though.
Perhaps hitting the walls should do less damage? Maybe I'm just not that great at the game, but I kept hitting them and ending up with not a lot of of health to face the enemies which I suppose are the real threat.
Awesome game! Really had fun with this, and played it quite a few times :D
When reading the controls for driving I didn't think they would be good at all, but they were actually quite fun. Happy to be proven wrong there!
I'd agree with everything HDugmag said, more levels and a focus of the rotation mechanic, change of the colours, and have a few sound effects for feedback.
Great job! Loved the minimal style of everything, and the particle effects on the player were awesome!
The sacrifice mechanic helped bring something special to the game, so that it wasn't just an ordinary puzzle platformer.
The player movement was something I felt wasn't too good. Perhaps speed it up a little? And having a greater gravity applied to the character when falling sounds kinda weird, but it really helps getting rid of that sort of floaty feel when falling, whilst also letting the player jump high.
And maybe make the green zone two cells wide? Found it a little annoying a few times tryna get in... but that was rare so maybe not such a big deal haha
@randomphatom Thanks! Will look into that issue. Collision is something I need to work on in this game.
@LoganAmes Thank you very much :D Yea the attack that the player does is pretty useless, and would be able to be upgraded if I were to keep working on it. Although like you said, it does force you to use the turrets, so kinda liked it haha.
Wave 10 to 12 seems to be the end game for most players, even me!
Awesome atmosphere and visuals in the game, and I liked the whole leeches are attracted to any electric object mechanic as a puzzle solving method!
I think the player might be able to move a bit too fast and is able to avoid the leeches without much challenge, so perhaps restricting his movement a bit?
Awesome game!
The movement is nice and smooth, and the energy draining from robots mechanic forces you to become fully engaged in the game in a challenging way. The feedback from the game state, in terms of your movement speed and the sound, is amazing, and sadly something often overlooked in games (even my submission haha).
The visuals and sound were great.
Really fun :)
Thought the visuals were really cool with a 3D-2D style.
The blood is ammo mechanic is also a really interesting idea!
Not sure about the movement system, but experimentation is good and I'm sure I'd catch the hang of it eventually.
Not sure if I was just playing incorrectly, but there only seemed to be 2 enemies, would love to play for a bit longer!
@boymakesnoise Thanks for the kind words!
The camera suggestion is a real good one! I'm likely to keep working on the project eventually, and that's something I'll definitely be adding, thank you :D
Oh and if you have any more information about what happened when the game froze it'd be much appreciated, and will look into a fix asap.
