A really cute game! Great job predicting user behaviour / questions with the tutorial signs (I really thought the gun was a spring to let you jump higher at first until the sign with shooting instructions haha). I also had some trouble with the spike area which would have worked if the difficulty level of the rest of the game was the same but continuously dying there considering the rest wasn't too bad was a bit of a bummer. Maybe adjusting the length of the second row of spikes to give the player more room to start the jump would be good!
(Also I was so curious about the areas I couldn't get into just off screen! Not sure if there was a secret to exploring those or if it was just set decoration but they got my attention haha)
I definitely agree with the spikes, we didn't leave enough time for playtesting and the dash not being as responsive definitely doesn't help (in regards to controls etc). I might update it to be easier and less unforgiving.
had kind of a hard time playing the spike segments because of the controls but otherwise it was super fun and cute, loved the shooting mechanics, the creature design, the fact that the gun is a s'more? very fun!!
I like the idea behind the game! the dash could only work with the left shift button so I couldn't get very far having to scrunch my hand over WASD, Lshift, and the space bar to traverse the platforming but I think this has potential!

Glad you liked the signs :)

It is indeed a s'more . We definitely had a lot of fun coming up with the guns etc.

Thank you very much for the feedback. The controls do definitely need fine-tuning. Thanks for playing the game :)
