I had a lot of fun playing this! the little robot is so cute, and I found the gameplay both fun and moderately challenging. the sfx were cool too! I like your take on renewal, very creative. I wish there was music from the beginning, it would enhance the experience!
Very fun to play! I liked the hover mechanic and the way it accelerated, felt different from the standard double jumps of other platformers. I feel like with a bit more time and playtesting, you could have balanced it to make it more challenging so you really needed to squeeze the most out of every energy point. Great job, especially for a first time!
I really like the use of energy as health, fuel, and to run the generator, very clever use of a resource! I think there was a great balance of it as well, enough throughout the levels to feel comfortable but not too much that would make it feel too easy. The music was also great and the little robot guy was very cute!
Fun! Controls are decent, it feels good to play. Good amount of levels. I felt that the explosions were a bit unfair, since there was no way to know when or where did they appear, besides the animation that played. And the huge robot was too easy to pass by. It also was funny that you could kill yourself flying.
There is the potential for whacky puzzles, I look forward for more!
Fun game! Great work for a first time submission too!
There were a couple of scripting errors, I think. No music until I died on the 3rd or 4th level, for example. Also would have liked to see some visual feedback on the timing of the explosions, it would have helped it feel more fair.
Thanks for the feedback! There are lots of things not super clean on our coding-end! But we do have a confession, we didn't add music to our first two levels >< we ran out of time, since everything was made from scratch! (minus the jumping sound). Also I agree with the explosion animation, we will continue to work on it!
Great concept and cute character! You've made an impressive amount of levels as well, which is really nice to see! However, I was really frustrated by the explosions. There's nothing to indicate where they are when they're not going off, and there's no 'charge'/anticipation graphic or time period that would let me know to move out of the way. They all seem to come from nowhere and knocked me off my path completely, which was pretty annoying and felt pretty cheap. Their hitboxes also aren't very clear, and their timing seems a little inconsistent. This was still a cute little game though, and I'm a big fan of the main mechanic of managing your battery! I hope you continue this project!

Love the art, the cow is my favorite thing.

Thanks for playing! We definitely agree with you on the anticipation animation! We will work on that for next time!
