- This is a fun game that can turn into a brilliant one with better level design, movement and controls, and player actions. Aesthetics also work for the game. The art and audio are pretty decent, but of course, can use improvements. The theme felt like being superficially stamped on the game, and there is a lot of work that the developers should do in that department.
- Barely a Ninja was a fun little game with an interesting mechanic. Barring some collision bugs the game was fun to play. Hope to see more levels. The game had great music as well. More enemies would be nice! and challenging.
- Allowing the player to set their own controls or having shortcuts for the colors might make the game more playable. The mechanics of changing color are interesting but get frustrating due to being bound to jump very quickly. Lots of platformers have the mechanic of changing the environment based on character state, however they make the player experience smooth instead of frustrating and have interesting puzzles even though they allow the player to switch states at will. Just having a speedrun capability will make the game challenging and replayable even if the player is allowed to change state at will so it won't necessarily make the game less challenging if that ever comes up as a concern for not doing that.
