Basic adventure game through a pixelart castle. You'll gather magical abilities to make it through a shorter and easier experience that's based more on exploration than combat. It can be a bit rough sometimes. Even with a map, that didn't prevent getting lost. I'm always on the verge of liking it. For the low price, it's well worth the risk to see if it's an adventure for you.
If you're into uncommon and strange experiences, Slot Waste is for you. It is an oddity that stands out, without any real challenge preventing you from getting through it. Oddities like an elephant tea cup becomes a metallic bird's head... after you pin its wings down. It has some basic minigame gameplay, move the stick back and forth to shave, move the stick in a circle. No settings, pause kicks you out of the game, but it's short.
Offers no particular advantage over Love2D or a bunch of other small engines that can be had for free. (And right now it's being given away which makes me feel real stupid for paying for it.) If you are really in love with ruby, it may be for you but wait until it's free again.
Just a wonderful mech ttrpg, i think about some of the systems in this game so often because they feel like such clever iterations of the PBTA formula into something super satisfying.
