Really like the art style! :D Cool entry, maybe a minimap with everything you've already discovered would be cool! :D

That's a really great idea! I have no clue how to do it but I'll start looking into it right away. Though I'm gonna try to fix the movement controls first.

Cool, you can write me if you're done, I'll play it a second time :D

It would seem I've run into a problem. Since I was hoping to eventually have random map generation, I don't think I can make a full mini map. However, I've made a different mini map that shows you the rooms next to you. It tells you if there's a room and if it is a red room. This leaves me with two questions:

1 - Is this good enough? If it isn't then I'll continue working on a full mini map or an option to toggle full mini map.

2 - If you like the current map idea, do you have any recommendations for it?

Cool, that makes it clearer! And yeah I like the map so far, the teleporters make it pretty interesting.   :D

But I mean, you can always make it bigger if you want.

I'm glad you like it! And I was thinking the same thing about how small the map is Lol. I wasn't sure if people would find it too intrusive. I'll increase the size a tad.

It turns out I accidentally threw all of the key controls into class functions. Luckily, that should be fixed very soon. Thanks for your reply :)

Do you happen to have any recommendations on how to make the game less confusing for players?

Oh, I don't know why I didn't think of that. I think I could put something like a thin black bar in front of walls that you can't pass.

This is an interesting concept
