Thank you for your feedback :) There actually is an animation but I mixed up the layers so you can't see it, I plan to fix that after the rating period ends. I will make an effort to try out your game when I get the chance

Thank you for your feedback :) I will take your thoughts into careful consideration when creating/updating future games

Thank you for your feedback :) I will make an effort to try your game later today

Thank you for your feedback :) I'm glad you liked our game

Hmm, I'm going to guess the human was beginning it's walking animation. It can be a bit subtle since they don't start moving right away. Since you can't stab a human when it's moving, you would've died instead of being able to stab them. That's something I'll have to look into for sure

Thank you for your feedback :) I'm glad you enjoyed our game

Thank you for your interest in our game. It truly means a lot :)

Cool! Thanks for showing an interest in our game :)

Thank you for your feedback :) The player isn't intended to have a knife to start. The knife is a grabbable item placed on the map. The art may be a poor implementation by me. This was my first rodeo with proper level design so it could've been much better put together

I'm glad you enjoy the lore of the game haha

Thank you for your feedback :) Could you possibly explain where or when the stabbing doesn't work? I'm guessing it has to do with the human death animation but you never know

Thank you for your feedback. I'm glad you like it :)

Thank you for your feedback :) I did intend on adding more things like a proper game over animation and additional tasks but unfortunately as a free user of Construct 3 I am unable to do so for now.

Thanks. I'm glad you enjoyed the cover, though its playability isn't quite as much as the game itself haha. I've noticed a few people having issues with getting the game going and I'm looking into it :)

Hello, thank you for your feedback. I believe I may have been unclear in the instructions. To stab, you must be holding the knife. To use Q, you must also be holding the knife or a droppable item.

Thank you for your feedback. I am a little confused as I just tried the game and it seemed to work properly. By any chance could you explain your issue more clearly?

Heyya, I'm decent at pixel art, music, and voice acting :)

Ah, so in theory I could program a small game and you could design it? Or another example would be the other person using unity makes the game, you make the art, and I could do code snippets or music?

The one with a space worked, Dev Soham#2242 :)

Didn't work for me either. I'mma check it out again tomorrow morning so I can actually stay awake

I'm not the best at pixel art, though I am pretty proud of my pfp, but I could help with a little sound design :) I can do songs, background tracks, voiceovers, and sound effects.

If you're using javascript then I could help out :)

I'm mainly a javascript developer but I also have made some music tracks before. I'm open but my only device is a chromebook so I'd probably be better help for assets unless it's a browser game you're making :)

This is an awesome game :D I love the mix of humor and all the story-focused side quests. It makes an NSFW game fun to play after 1 or 2 scenes

Thanks :)

I don't have 3 hours to listen to a stream for the theme and I can't search it for the part where it's announced.
Is there any other way to get the theme or participate without knowing it?

Please know I did open the stream and watched as much as I could but school's got me quite busy so I can't consistently watch it :(

Woah, a'ight :o I gotta go work a bit. Is there a patreon or something you guys have (for after I'm out of my $6 debt XD)

Are there gonna be more characters that do the same thing as the slime? :o

That's awesome to hear! I've sent you the money via paypal. I'll look forward to checking out the new updates for your game :)

In all honesty I expected absolute crap from this game jam but the important part was that everyone had fun.
The fact that your game was genuinely enjoyable has inspired me to look into making more expensive prizes for my game jams to get to play more games like yours.
Thank you for your participation :D

Grinding takes quite a bit but I can easily see myself getting caught up playing this game for a while :)

(1 edit)

Nah, I'm only seeing one game. It looks like everyone withdrew from the game jam except the one entry :/

On the plus side, that makes for easy ratings Lol

Update: It seems some people's games have been removed from the jam :/ I'm not sure if this was a personal decision or a technical issue

So sorry about that. I didn't realize I set it incorrectly. It should be fixed now :)

For my first game jam, I expected to fail.
I planned on doing so horribly that I'd never wanna share my games. But after seeing all the great people and getting so much feedback, I'm inspired to do so much more.

Thank you all for making such cool games and helping each other, even indirectly.

This has been an awesome experience!

Aren't pre-existing games not allowed?

$60 is just the same as $1 when every other game is free. For those like myself, money isn't even an option no matter whether we want to buy your game. If you're gonna advertise then I highly recommend finding a different crowd.

For me, it's the reviews. I love talking to people in the comments and hearing all their great ideas. Seeing everyone come to together to exchange creativity is just so exciting! :D
