really funny your graphics! just to see them I got in a good mood and then the game in its simplicity works really well so it's really good work .. if i had to move some criticisms I would say that maybe it's not very focused on the theme of the jam and that it's not too funny to play! however you gave me a more than positive experience and I would like you to try my game too :)

The art is pretty original, I haven't seen handcut and scanned art before ;-). However, the music is a bit repetitive. In the game I don't understand why customers sometimes have a smiley face and other times they don't; eventhough I fulfill their orders correctly. Also when you press the skip order, but have already selected items, the selected items dont't get removed.
I read your paragraph as to how the game fits the theme and I do agree with your explanation. However, when you're playing the game you don't have the impression that the game is lying; more like it's just a bit broken as the orders are a bit messed. Anyway, how did you create those dropdowns in the description on itch?
Thanks! I had a ton of fun with the art. Some of the customers are tricky because they reverse the order of frosting/cake. It is also possible that one may be been mis-flagged, so I'll double check the chart. It sounds like something may have gotten off in your play though so I'll have to do some more robust testing to see if I can reproduce it.
To get the dropdown, use the following HTML (removing the extra spaces around the closing slashes) :
<details><summary>TITLE< / summary> text goes here< / details>
Great job! It's awesome that you made a fun game that is secretly a test. I was going to say it would be better with more instruction about needing to avoid mouse orders, but I'm starting to think that was part of the "lie". ;)
The backstory on how the art was made is great! And I like the idea that it may help dyslexia. The secret ending was a nice touch too, well done
Playing through all these games makes me question everything now, and this game's theme was perfect, loved the art too! Thanks for the game!
