Love the art assets for this game. The toucans and bats are adorable designs and all the nice details like reflections on the windows, bubbles popping in the cauldrons, flames flickering, shadows to make characters and assets look more dimensional. And of course our magician friend exploding and disintegrating. XD Just really nice looking artwork in general.

And thank god there are checkpoint cauldrons! lol!
I enjoyed that extra layer of puzzle/ challenge in using the cauldrons to play in a different mode to get past obstacles. Really nice! Only issue for me was after respawning the camera would kind of lag behind the character then snap back to center all of the sudden when I jumped. Luckily the game is slow paced enough that it didn't cause me to die, but it still made it look a little buggy.

Overall I enjoyed playing! would love to play a version with more story and more levels someday! Awesome work! :)

That was fun! I like the graphics and the sound effects were nice too. I like the mechanic of switching between realities. Using the cauldrons as checkpoints was smart too, I've seen a lot of games in this jam simply restarting you at the beginning so you get points for not doing that :) Nice work!

Cool game, very nice idea with switching around. Many times I died because I forgot flowers are bad now XD I really like sounds and artstyle, great pixel art! Cool animations, especially dude's death animation was very well made (and creepy)

The game is really fun. Like the idea of switching around. Also thanks for giving check points :) The artwork is beautiful, the level design is good and the music goes well with the game. Over all a nice game.

Real cool idea with the cauldrons, and adds a twisty layer to the game! I kept forgetting which reality I was in, lol (the screen color changes, but I still messed up). Very cool graphics, fun BG music, and quite a classic J&R!

Interisting idea, but definitely could use some more polishment. The lack contrast between the background and the interactables makes it kinda hard to see what's going on and the controls feel a bit unresponsive at times. The idea is really good though.
