I fell from the elevator platform  in the beginning of the second level and got stuck and gathering the orbs in the first level was not really intuitive for me.

However the artwork was pleasant and the controls were ok. I liked that you made a help panel for the controls displayed. Solid entry.

Honestly, I think this game deserves more attention.  It kept me engaged and wanted to keep playing until the end.  It took me a while to figure out how to defeat the boss but I did it!  Stay in the light!  I found the mechanics tricky at first, but I eventually figured out how to use them to my advantage.  I also loved how forgiving the game was by putting you back on the last platform prior to death.  I couldn't figure out how the theme tied in and thought the music should have been more atmospheric, but I really enjoyed this game!  Great job on this!  Hope you'll take some time to check out our submission! https://itch.io/jam/cgj/rate/476728

Cool idea and storytelling, a better jump mechanic could have improved the gameplay feel to be more smooth.
