Couldn't get past level three... the music made me very anxious hahahaha.

Creative mechanic though.

Interesting concept, I've never played a game with this mechanic before. It was a bit buggy on my play thru, but that may have been me not being familiar with the mechanic.

Developer

No that's not you just not being familiar with the concepts. It's just bugs I couldn't resolve and turned it into a feature(as Michael said on Discord) and I put it in the intro as: The King is the King and sometimes he might not obey your command, or something like that. Glad you liked it!

Neat concept! I included it in my Chip ‘N Jam compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :)

Thanks a lot!

Some nice ideas on show here. I like the graphics and audio. Decent achievement for 48 hours!

Developer

Thanks a lot! Glad you liked the music(was doubtful my audio was good)!

I liked the idea behind this game. I feel like it could of been a little more polished, in some areas, but this could lead to some rather sophisticated levels

Developer

I know it could be a bit more polished in some(many) areas but I fixed whatever major bugs occured(like the queen or jack or ammo box falling through the ground when player's block was selected). And yes this could lead to many sophisticated levels, I wanted to add several features like a flying card above the queen or jack or ammo as a guard but time didn't permit me.  Otherwise glad you liked the game and thanks a lot for hosting this wonderful event!

Hey there!

It's cool you managed to recreate Tiny Fragment's mechanics, but I think you should at least mention it in your game description (and try to avoid using the same exact level design in some of your levels).

Otherwise, good job on your programming, must be challenging to implement these mechanics to real life!

Aaah sorry, forgot to mention it. Also forgot to put a retro modifier for it. Idiotic me :( And also since it was made in GMS2 and I use unity and GMS2 is paid, so yes it was pretty tough to implement it and the unity version of it comes with the numerous glitches :P. Also couldn't think of anything more challenging because Tiny Fragments was made within 2 days and consisted of 10 levels. I don't know how did dazlog do it within this time and think of sooo many levels. He must be a genius or he must've started on this project loong ago. Anyways glad you like it :D

Yeah, I think it's cool to try to implement some game's mechanics on your own, it's a good challenge for a programmer!

Good job!

Developer

Being 14 it was a humongous task for me and I almost collapsed after scourging the Unity forums and documentations. Thanks a lot!

Wow you are so young and already programming!

It's really impressive! I'm 25 and recently got into it :D
