Use of Theme / Inspiration
"Changing the Story" brought to mind the realization that the carbon footprint was popularized by BP. Getting the public to focus on their own carbon footprint distracts from the damage fossil fuel companies are doing themselves so we want to inform folks to take more action against the companies that are knowingly exploiting the planet

One other clicker/idle game that you might want to look to for inspiration would probably be the game Universal Paperclips, purely because it also is a clicker game with multiple stages. Looks interesting!

Addicting concept. Maybe if you have the time explore the ending being when you convert 100% of earth's energy to renewable and how is that achieved?
