- The dichotomy you created works really well! The playful bedroom with peaceful music and childrens toys wihle shooting nightmare creatures sets an interesting tone! The traps fit well in the aesthetic, but more of them could have added to the depth of the game. The enemy design (especially the first monster) looks great! A bit more polish of the surroundings or animations for the gorilla also would have helped tie the game together! --- I really appreciate the originality of the art and I like the designs of the traps, very appropriate for a kid. Not sure if it's just me but the camera seems SUPER sensitive, I could barely look around/move! I also liked the contrast between peaceful music/fighting nightmares, it's a very unique and interesting mood. --- 27/40

This game was one of my first clicks because I love tower defense games, and the graphics along with "Nightmare" automatically won me over! The game was super fun and it reminded me of my old Roblox days haha!! I think one thing could be perhaps a tutorial or at least the controls/goal of game perhaps listed somewhere within the game settings, along with a general description of what each trap is useful for could be helpful. Also (I'm pretty bad at games so it's hard to judge) but the difficulty was really hard for me HAHA. In general I really love the idea (especially the lil guy shooting paper airplanes) and I had much fun!
Thanks so much. We ran out of time when making levels. So, I just wrote a short guide on the game page instead. And yes - it's not just you but level 2 is very difficult. A difficulty-masochist designed that lol.
Pretty fun game, I really like the ascetic, the LEGO bricks are my favorite, followed by the pillow forts. I would indicate that there's shooting in somewhat because I missed it and struggled for a bit with only the traps. Also would increase damage on the traps a bit as most of the enemies I defeated by shooting at them myself. Other than that really good game. Great work! Keep it up!
Thank you for playing. Regrettably, there's no tutorial to show you the controls. But the traps shouldn't be the primary source of damage. Just like in Orcs Must Die.
