The base is there, but would need fine tuning so it's a bit more forgiving on the movement controls.
Lack of any sounds is a bummer.
I just considered the snipers were robots killing the hero escaping from the evil base dropping on the volcano.

A great escape from the real world, I'm not sure why you would collect coins while lava is rising but I love the craziness of it, and dodging bullets while climbing higher makes it more fun for sure. If there were sounds it would make a huge difference. I get my sounds from freesounds, they are very easy to add. Maybe you forgot like me, I tend to add sounds at the end, which is why I had to publish twice and delete one.

Galactic EvaderAs stated in other games, I am terrible with platform games, but I tried for a bit.
People talk about snipers in the volcano, but I found more weird that I should be interested in collecting money while my legs are going to burn in a few seconds!
Aside for that, it's good for people that like to challenge themselves in endless jumping.
Adding at least a few sounds, like jump, shoot, collecting coins and a catching background music, might help to play once more time ;-)
Keep polishing it, you will get a nice time waster game :-)

Mech Warsnow this could be turned into a full game with some polish. it fits the jam perfectly.
the only real criticism is that i had to use the mouse in between tries. if i could have just used the keyboard to press the play button, i would have played a LOT more.
I played about 20 tries tho. Very good.

1444: PyramidLike others said it's funny that there are snipers in the volcano. They don't care that they will be killed by lava very soon. xD
I wish there were some more game-play elements introduced once you get higher and like abho said hitting the head all the time feels a bit bad, maybe additionally spawning some jump through platforms could help!

ESCALATING DUELquite simple one but the idea of you jumping in a volcano with someone shooting intented to die in a lava flow, is somehow poetic
