Ok so yea that won't be possible cuz I had the same issue last time on the Core Game Jam But there is Hope
It took alot of time and research in order to find a way/method to get money/another gift card that I could use, so I'll try my best to help people avoid my situation and give some advice.

The way I did it was I went to https://www.reddit.com/r/giftcardexchange/ [very trusted and good moderation to scams] and exchanged my giftcard for bitcoin
(there are other options like paypal or exchange them for other giftcards etc) but do keep in mind there will be a deduction fee ex. if I were to exchange a $100 amazon giftcard they will say that they will give u 85% so you will get $85 through paypal (this is better than having nothing or a useless giftcard u can't use) and the exchange rates varies from person to person so its best to find some one who will give u a good exchange rate and at the same time has alot fo vouches to prove he wont scam you.
Please do be careful if you are going to do this there will be alot of scammers so try to keep away from trading with [GCX Beginners] and look for ones that are [GCX Top Trader] or [Experienced Trader] (these are the people who have done alot of exchanges meaning there is a less chance of you being scammed.
My choice would be to go with Bitcoin even though they might have low exchange rates but they are worth it trust me and wont be a hassle like paypla with all kinds of verification etc, use [CoinBase for your wallet] & https://www.bitrefill.com/ to buy what ever giftcard you want with your bitcoin.
