looks sharp and I was looking forward to it, but sadly I had a really hard time getting it to run on a Nexus 7 2012 - first time: nothing at all for 10 secs then app died, second time locked up at title screen, third time game barely started and i tapped it and got runtime error ".../libs/touch.lua:60 attempt to concatenate local 'rad' (a nil value)". fourth time's a charm though :) and got to play, tho it was still a bit "laggy". the controls suffice, but might benefit from a better response to the "magnitude" of the swipes (tho maybe it's just cuz i was so laggy - i'll try to factor out my laggy device in my rating tho)

@ Dev-Ze.rocks Thanks! The original controls in Gesture were slide based so I kept them slide based when I replaced gesture. Now that I'm no longer under time constraints (and after some play testing with my kid's and their parents) I decided to add tap controls as well. It seems that tapping is more intuitive for many people.
Gesture is pretty cool but it is taxing on the cpu, much like my shading engine. I figured a few things out with Gesture so if you have any questions when you use it, I'll help the best I can.
very beautiful game and a quite inovative interpretation of the theme.
I got angry some times about the controls as they are kinda indirect, but this might be intentional.
Pitty that the gesture control did not work out, curious how this would have turned out...
