I got a good idea last night. I would like to participate in a gamejam about the Covid. This will be a nice game with no blood involve :).

1 week long is perfect,  I will start next monday and keep a minidevlog here.

I am planing to make an asteroid like game. So the name will be Virusroid.
You got it, the player spacecraft must kill the Virus coming from everywhere.

It fits the rules, so let's go :)

Virusroid

Overview : your spacecraft must destroy as much Giant Virus (Sroid) as possible to save humankind

Dev starting on monday 23rd, submitting by sunday 29th.

Taskboard :

1.  Graphics : spacecraft (sprite from opengameart ?), Sroid (= giant virus,  sprite made on gimp), background.
2.  Spacecraft : player input, teleportation if out of screen, shoot
3.  Sroid : random spawn, move, destruction
4.  VIRUSROID V0 validation
5.  animations : shoot particles, spacecraft acceleration particles, sroid animation
6.  music + sfx
7.  score
8.  bonus feature
9.  bonus feature
10.  bonus feature
11.  bonus feature

If I complete task 4 by the end of the week, I will have a game to submit. This is my objective. However that won't be a very fun game at that point. Next tasks will be implemented to improve fun.
