I use game maker, and the only way to export the game for free is to launch it on the opera gx gaming platform.

I'm not familiar with that platform but for the jam your game will need a page on Itch with either a download of your game or be a HTML5 game. It's essential for it to have a page as that's how submissions on Itch work, it'll allow people to properly rank and rate your game.
