I don’t want to do the wrong thing and i know people are divided on this, so:

How many ppl here want me to charge for my game and how many ppl here want me to release it pwyw?

I’d love to do either. I just don’t know which is better for the community atm. Thanks.

As per the rules:

"Entries must have a downloadable print-and-play file which is freely available for the duration of the jam and the voting period."

But afterwards, do whatever you want with the game! In my experience, with PWYW, you'll be lucky is 1% of downloaders chip in a dollar. With a paid product you're obviously going to reach fewer people, but if you want to make money from your game, is probably the better choice.

I found that part of the guidelines after i posted O:)

Left this thread up because i’m new and still interested in ppl’s thoughts. It seems there’s a group of people who post things on their store as paid product, but then let’s people download all their games on patreon to backers. Looking forward to entries!
