Cozy little start of a visual novel game! The game is obviously still in development (I got to the 'ash coming home' part, is the game supposed to end there at the moment?), but I think it's a nice base to keep working from throughout the month :) I that the background images give the scenes a lot of vibe. You probably need to improve transitions but all the art is really good.
I see it's still under development so you have time to finish it, keep working hard and you'll get a really good game!
