  • Adherence to Theme and Creativity: 4 It passes the theme and has a nice idea with the two different parts, but nothing extraordinary I feel. Gameplay Innovation and Enjoyment: 4 The stunlock of an enemy bouncing you into themself is really harsh with the death system, which combined with the few screen transition, you got hurt parts is what brings this down. I also feel like the two parts don't really connect, even more as one feels like a complete metroidvania journey why the other as a jump up game. I'm missing the connection and balance between them. Technical Execution and Presentation: 4 Transition and bounce bugs is what brings this down to me, with the music using too high pitches sounds partnered into it. Otherwise the game is in a nice spot!
  • Creative, radical and simply fun! I love it!
  • That water is *terrifying* I'm so impressed you managed to fit two games into one jam ! The polish on the two of them is really high - and that laser looks fantastic - . I did encounter some performance issues when using the laser , as well as reloading to the menu cart when I died got fairly frustrating after a couple deaths because of the pico animation . I did complete them both though- the jumping one was a gauntlet , I was sweating the entire time; it was *perfectly* paced , at least for me
  • Having 2 full stages with unique movement mechanics was ambitious and made for a very full game. However I think the laser beam movement and overheating mechanic could have been the focus of the game where the levels were designed with more navigation puzzles using that beam to navigate. I hope your team considers expanding on that in your next game!

I liked how this was basically two games in one. I think the laser level was my favourite. I really liked the graphics and character animation and some of the enemy designs were really fun. Great platformer gameplay. Nice work :)

Enjoyed! Finished the water level. I missed sound effects on breaking blocks, anyway, the concept is really nice.
