A nice idea that feels pretty good to play. I especially like the pink enemy death effect and the drowning effect on the music when you die.
Some more variations or strategy in destory enemies could be nice. I spent most of the time standing on the platform, fanning bullets back and forth and that seemed be enough most of the time.

Hee, reminds me of this XKCD what-if.

Really interesting/cool game. I enjoyed it. I Included it in part 13 of my Cyberpunk Jam compilation video series, if you feel like giving it a look :) http://youtu.be/foHhDr5DT9g

@Teddy Bradford - huh, that's an odd one.  I can't seem to reproduce it, but there are easy steps I could take to eliminate it.  Thanks!

Its really fun and easy to play, controls react great! I like the idea of the platform getting smaller. A solid base gameplay if you want to build upon it!

Fun game. It would be nice if you didn't have to wait for them to arrive though, and you had other objectives.

Hey man, thanks for playing!  I did try a couple different control schemes, but to be honest, I just kinda ran out of time to make the 360 controller feel perfect, and put it down for awhile (also now that I just looked, I noticed I never lined up the muzzle flash with the 360 left stick - oops :P!).

I love the feel of the movement and the ridiculous spray of bullets. Great stuff. :)

One small suggestion: it seems like the 360 controls offer less freedom to move/shoot independently since both aiming and movement are tied to the left stick. Have you considered mapping movement to the left stick, aiming to the right, and possibly moving jump and shoot to LT/RT respectively?
