I was just in a Gameboy Jam and this captured the Gameboy aesthetic better than anything we had. The gameplay was only alright but I loved the art and presentation. The momentum in Redcat was a little frustrating because you couldn't slow down very fast but if you changed directions you did so immediately, so landing jumps was harder than it needed to be. Also, I swear you can beat A2 Racer just by driving on the shoulder the whole way and not dodging anything. For the time constraints of a game jam, though, this is fantastic.

Thanks! :) Yes, the slowing down in almost every Platform game made in GB Studio is quite frustrating. Since there isn't any easy way to change this. The slider for slowing down can't be dragged to 0, strangely enough.
The A2 Racer game could have been a bit better if I had a bit more time. ;) However, if you just drive on the shoulder the whole way, you won't get all the points/bonuses. ˆˆ

Ik ben waarschijnlijk slecht in platformers, racing games én schietspellen, maar dit is nog steeds erg knap gemaakt.

Erg goed, mijn favoriet is RedCat maar AmsterDoom is ook erg leuk!
Ik ben ook erg tevreden met het resultaat! Ik ben vooral ook blij dat ik nog net op tijd de muziek erin heb gekregen. ^^; De RedCat game is vooral geïnspireerd op RedCat Spookkasteel. Ik heb het alleen behoorlijk moeten versimpelen.
