Assets that are allowed

Are we allowed to make our own assets? This is my first game jam and I don't want to be disqualified for something silly like this. I generally use places like MagicaVoxel and Piskel for the type of game i'm making and would like to know if using them would result in disqualification.

Your own assets or free assets, but NOT paid assets

Alright, thanks and good luck in the jam!

Good luck to you too!

Does this include tools such as Playmaker?

If is not 3d, VFX or music, I think it should be allowed, but I am not certain. A tool is not theoretically an asset, but it can be bought from the asset store. Is a bit of a dilema here.

I think its the same as software you can use any engine to create a game so i think you can use playmaker since its not an asset
