Getting an opportunity to learn new stuff!

Thanks for the week long game jam. I don't have a ton of time and I really wanted to experiment with some different aspects of Unity. Over the past week I have learned how to manage JSON data, access external API's, and have built the game 100% in the UI Canvas.

It's been challenging and enlightening. This morning I have (finally) a functional version end to end. Looking forward to being able to submit my Escape Room, Trivia, Lock-Picking Extravaganza!

Yesterday was about getting some aesthetics (not my strength) and getting a version onto itch.io to ensure the API's would work.

Good news is the API's work great, a functional/playable WebGL version is in draft.

Today will be about sound, music, UX and UI.

Progress...

After rating all the Browser games, and the MAC one, I then I rated all that I could with the processing power I have on my old Windows laptop. Guess it's time to invest in a better PC for Unity Gaming. Hoping to get more than 7 votes and any feedback would be welcomed. It was such a fun JAM and I tried so many new things would be great to hear what ya'all think.
