Hello, i'm jojoffrey and i'm joining the devtober! (joining in 10/10/2022)

I will make a 2d top down game with simple gameplay. You must defeat enemies in a small map.

i will use phaser 3 for the game engine, the asset will be made with krita and the animation with dragonBone.

here my progress for today :

DAY 1

The animation come from a another project. I've made the bullet come from four different direction and have a sword animation.

DAY 2

Here my progress so far :

a lot of stuff done ! :)

next day, i will attack the shop setting and the various item you can buy !

DAY 3

I've made the UI for the shop and the inventory,

made the gameplay for throwing bomb and shield.

The shield make you invincible during 5s while the bomb well it's explode in a large area causing massive damage!


next step the gameplay for the sanguine sword, three shot gun, flying rock and fire wall !

DAY 4

I've working on the different upgrade you can have. 

  • Bloody sword :has a 30% chance to restore life
  • Three shot upgrade
  • flying rock
  • fire wall



Next time, i will add some other monster !

DAY 5,6,7

Learning Unity, i must change for a another game engine for what 'im making. I will make the same game but in unity, so i restart from 0...

The change is because in phaser-3 , the framerate drop drastically after the wave 13 and i dont know where it's come from :s.

i hope i will not have this problem with unity :)


DAY 8

add the wave simulation, now there's a rest wave where no monster spawn and a wave monster.

Now the monster can die on bullet impact.

and that's it!

Next time i will work on the game over and titlescreen feature.
