Nice game! I love how you used multiple approaches to the theme in one game, with the level design and the graphics. Very interesting!

Developer

Super thanks!

The music was fitting, the graphics matched the style of the game, the ghosts turning invisible while not moving was nice (even though I think it would be better if the opposite was true), and the level design amazing!
Forcing the player to think outside the box (yes, literally) made the levels so much more enjoyable!
Great game!

Thank you for a thousand times!

A very fun and very well made glitch game. I like music and the visual style. Overall a very good jam game. Well done.

Thank you very much!

Really nice take on the theme, the level design was nice once you understand that you have to go out of bounds. On the other side, I would replace seeing only the enemies eyes to seeing a faint shadow when you're not moving.

Thank you for your kind words! Yeah, some sort of faint shadow effect would have been nice. But visible eyes were faster to implement... :D

Cool game, I thought that the idea of guessing where the invisible walls were by how the walls around them looked was interesting.  I feel like having the enemies go completely invisible might have been more meaningful,  as I could still track them fairly easily from their eyes alone.  I think the game window is also a bit too small (I ended up using alt + enter and played it in fullscreen), and I feel that it may have been better to scale it up a bit.

Thank you for your highly constructive feedback!

About the enemies: Yeah, the original idea was to leave enemies totally invisible, but I thought it was a bit annoying to play then. In the other hand, leaving the eyes visible perhaps made the game a bit too easy. Decisions, decisions...

About the game window: Resolution of the game is whopping 192x108 pixels, and the game is supposed to be played fullscreen (in the matter of fact, it should start as fullscreen by default). I know that some people prefer to play windowed, and for some reason I just forgot that… Sorry about that!

That makes sense, it started in windowed mode for me so it might be worth checking on another computer if you have the chance, though it could also just be on my end (which may indeed be the case since none of the other comments mention it).
