Nice work
My feedback for Brain Vagrant:
The attack action did not work for me, so I made due with jumping over enemies.
I got far enough to see the terrain/scenery change to a pink color, but once I encountered the first enemy that can climb walls or fly, I didn't stand a chance.
There are two areas where the game could be improved:
1. The character's gravity. I perceived my character to be lightweight, but whenever they are airborne they drop to the ground like lead. If lightweight was the intention I would lower the gravity. If heavyweight was the intention I would revise the character sprite to convey that.
2. Visual/Sonic feedback for combat. There were times when I'd jump over an enemy and I still got hit, but I had no idea because there was no indicator at all. I wouldn't know unless I looked up at my hearts. A sound effect or a flashing animation could benefit here.
Unfortunately, because of the bug I mentioned at the beginning I was not able to make it to the end of the game. Therefore, I was unable to see how the theme is conveyed. If there is a bug fix in the near future, let me know and I will play it again.
I hope this feedback helps!
